Dennis D'Alessandro moved to Ecuador in 1977 where
he spent 13 years as curators of a Botanical Garden devoted to orchids. During
that time he discovered over 100 new species of orchids. He returned to the United
States in 1991 and now lives in Beaver, Pennsylvania where he works in the health
care field and owns Gypsy Glen Orchids. His talk will cover the orchids found
in Ecuador and he will have a wide selection of plants for sale. Bring your orchid
guides as Dennis will very likely have orchid species not easily found in the
United States.
