Meetings

The Triangle Orchid Society meets on the second Monday of every month at 7:30 PM at JC Raulston Arboretum at:

4415 Beryl Rd
Raleigh, NC 27606

Visitors are always welcome. Our meetings are interesting, informative, and fun!  There is always more to discover in the world of orchids.

At most meetings we have a guest speaker.  There are display tables for our members to bring and share their blooming orchids.  At each meeting, a handful of the fantastic plants members have shared are awarded ribbons.  There is also a fun orchid raffle at the end of the meeting, and sometimes plants for sale.

A few times during the year, when the speaker is not bringing their own plants to sell, TOS the members are invited to bring and sell their orchids to other TOS members.

Agenda:

7:00-7:30  Meeting preparation
  • Setting up display tables for member plants (with TOS there are two categories: greenhouse-grown and home-grown orchids), meeting the speaker, purchasing plants, and buying raffle tickets.
