Enjoy pictures of the Triangle OS exhibits last year!
Many thanks all the members who donated their flowering plants and made participation in shows possible. Also, a very special thank you goes out to everyone who did all the hard work involved in preparing, putting in and taking down our displays. All your efforts created some fabulous exhibits representing the Triangle Orchid Society.
For the first show of the year, the TOS participated in the South Carolina Orchid Society Show February 7th-9th 2014 in Columbia, and our display won a 1st place ribbon in its class.
Next, the TOS traveled to Richmond to take part in the Virginia Orchid Society Show from Feb 22nd-23rd 2014, and won a 2nd place ribbon for our exhibit.
From February 28th-March 2nd, 2014, TOS received a 1st place ribbon for its display in the Triad Orchid Society’s Orchid Show in Greensboro, NC. 
During October 4th-5th, 2014, TOS created a beautiful display in the Piedmont Orchid Society’s Orchid Show in Charlotte, NC, as seen below.
And finally, from October 16th-26th, 2014, TOS put in an amazing display full of members’ orchids in the Flower Exhibits at the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh, NC. Many members volunteered their time to stand by the exhibit and answer questions from fairgoers. Thanks to all who helped make this a success!
Next time the Triangle Orchid Society goes to a local show or event, consider volunteering in some way to help make it a success. It is a really rewarding experience!
