The 8th annual Fall for Orchids Show was September 13 – 15 at JC Raulston Arboretum.

The show is always free and open to the public. Certified American Orchid Society judges from across NC, SC and TN come to award prizes in numerous categories. Vendors from out of the Triangle area sell both exotic and recognized varieties along with orchid growing supplies. Other orchid societies from NC, SC and VA install impressive orchid displays. The show is always a great chance to add to your collection or begin one with some expert advice. A schedule of “Patio Talks” led by experienced growers on a variety of orchid care topics are given on Saturday and Sunday.
